Course Overview

The success of any business depends upon the strength and skills of its people. For people to be at their best, they need to be included and feel a sense of belonging. The Inclusive Leadership training course provides an opportunity to dive deep into inclusive leadership, exploring how to create a psychologically safe space, modelling an open environment through radical candour and understanding the impact of a leader’s micro-behaviours. To understand what inclusive leadership entails and the benefits of a diverse and inclusive workplace, participants will have the opportunity to discover all the increase-in-demand behaviours that inclusive leaders demonstrate and model.

Course Objectives

The Inclusive Leadership training course aims to empower participants to develop their leadership skills and promote diversity, inclusion, and effective communication in the workplace.

After the training course, the participant will learn to:

• Understand the definition and benefits of inclusive leadership
• Recognise the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace
• Develop effective communication skills for a diverse workplace
• Learn strategies for managing and leading a diverse team
• Identify and mitigate unconscious biases
• Practice collaboration skills and resolve conflicts in a diverse work environment
• Develop an action plan for implementing inclusive leadership practices in their workplace

Target Audience

This training course is designed for individuals in leadership positions or aspiring leaders who currently manage or lead people teams or who wish to in the future. It is ideal for participants to have some management experience, though optional.

Training Methodology

This training course utilises a dynamic and interactive methodology combining lectures, group activities, gamification, and individual reflection, including thought-provoking discussions and hands-on exercises. It will allow participants to develop their leadership skills in a supportive environment, providing them with actionable strategies from best practices, neuroscientific research, and behavioural science.
